Making meals. The very words send chills up the spines of some – especially those who tend to stay away from the stove. Still, it happens, three times a day.

Sweet Potato Chili is packed with fresh root vegetables, and lean meats.

Enter Wildtree Certified Organic Foods, a line of organic products and easy recipes that help make mealtimes easier.

Wildtree was founded on the premise that food should be natural, nutritious, delicious, and easy to prepare – all the time. No preservatives, no GMO, no MSG, and low sugar, low salt foods.

Lori Fleischer, a Wildtree director and purveyor at the Flint Farmers’ Market, knows how difficult meal preparation can seem. It’s her job to help her customers discover tips and tricks to simplify healthy meal preparation, which she says is not as time consuming or complex as many think.

She happily promotes Wildtree product line that includes super simple one-skillet meals, seasonal favorites, and gluten-free options. Dressings, marinades, dip mixes, blends, rubs, bouillons, and soups are also part of the lineup, as are ready-to-go meal workshops, like Around the World or Comfort Foods, all of which include themed products and recipes.

Wildtree Director Lori Fleisher happily shows customers how to make healthy “meals in minutes.”

Fleisher even makes house calls with easy to arrange home tasting parties and freezer bag workshops.

This month, Fleisher shares her Sweet Potato Chili packed with root vegetables and lean meats. The dish is among the standouts featured in Wildtree’s Simply Wholesome workshop.

Dinner can be this easy.
