Mott Community College is a big winner in a yearly competition for the best video and television productions.

The school’s brand anthem video “Ready for More” took the bronze prize in the 39th Telly Awards category “Local Television: General for Colleges and Universities.”
The Tellys recognize excellence as judged by leaders from video platforms, television and streaming networks, agencies, and production companies including Vimeo, Vice, Hearst Digital Media, and BuzzFeed.
“Mott Community College is pushing the boundaries for video and television innovation and creativity at a time when the industry is rapidly changing,” says Sabrina Dridje, managing director of the Tellys. “This award is a tribute to the talent and vision of its creators.”
The winning entry, “Ready for More” depicts a fast-paced tour of classrooms and labs featuring faculty, alumni and students as they demonstrate options and advantages of receiving an education at Mott.
“We love our new brand anthem,” says Dale Weighill, the college’s associate vice president for institutional advancement. “Winning a Telly is confirmation that we have really captured the dynamism and excitement on campus as we prepare our students for their futures in the 21st century global economy.”
