It’s not the ice cream truck, but it’s a moving mini-market filled with summer treats.
Returning to local neighborhoods through August, the mobile food pantry will make its monthly rounds to distribute free, lead-mitigating groceries to residents, while supplies last.
Produce including zucchini, cabbage, corn, green beans, kale, collard greens, watermelon, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers will be available, along with other foods rich in calcium, vitamin C and iron.
