Participating Genesee County bowling alleys are offering a grand time this week.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Aug. 16 grandparents and their grandchildren can roll strikes together while supporting the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s Senior Box and Backpack programs. By donating $1 or three cans of food participants, ages 55 and older, can help feed hungry youth and seniors through the initiative supported by the Flint Senior Bowling Association and Michigan State USBC Bowling Association.
