A celebration of culture will be held at Flint Farmers’ Market Sept. 14.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the community landmark at 300 East First St. will host the fourth annual Flint Hispanic Festival, featuring live entertainment, food, vendors, art and other activities.

Musical and choreography performances will be provided by Los Hermanos Escamilla, Mariachi, and El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil.

Co-sponsored by Flint Downtown Development Authority and El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil, the Flint Hispanic Festival is open to the public.

Along with folkloric dance techniques of Mexican origin, El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil teaches youth instrumental and vocal instruction through mariachi-style programs. Students who participate in training learn to perform throughout the Midwest.
