Wow. The world has changed so much since March. Our stores were shuttered and dusty, then riots and racial tension. All this, along with economic uncertainty makes this seem like a time to scale back and develop a “wait and see” strategy.
However, that has never been my leadership style. I am and hope to always be a positive focal point for both adults and children in our community.
Although founded in Flint, our retail stores have recently begun to serve customers around the country as we launched full scale online. We are grateful to expand.
I have made the decision to reopen all three Glam shops. It does give me a great challenge but I am up for it. I am ALL IN for Flint & Genesee County and I believe we will continue to have an amazing in store experience for all of our customers.
The Shops at Saginaw store at 601 Saginaw Street is open
The 3426 Miller Rd store inside Summerset Salon opens Monday, June 15th
The 620 Saginaw St location reopens June 19th
I know we all enjoy the fanfare of Grand Openings and Grand Reopenings but what helps us most over time is your intentional commitment to shop small, regularly. I can’t tell you how many times our regular customers helped us make payroll, give a much needed raise and help those in need in our community.
I am openly asking for your business and make a commitment from our entire Glam Team that we will be professional, obsessed with customer service and will work to earn and keep your retail business. My family and I will be around Downtown on the 19th and would love to connect with as many as we can.
